A few years back I watched the original first few seasons of "Maverick" with James Gardner, and I really enjoyed it, so the idea of Sidney participating in a intergalactic card game intrigued me. Then while designing the other card players I started to wonder about using these guys in a future story... maybe if I find the time these 3 could show up outside of this story line!
