Wally and the 3 kittens - Brick

I'm excited to announce a new comicbook project that I'm working on with a kickstarter campaign called Lambrains! It's a comicbook about a Zombie and his ghost who are searching for their old girlfriend during a zombie apocalypse. It's a funny odd couple zombie story fun for all ages! Helping to support the kickstarter will help get the comic published, and will say you like what we're doing! :D

Also this weekend is visioncon in Branson Mo, and I have lots of fun pics on my tumblr/instagram/facebook page!

Feline Folly

Today's comic is a tribute to Felix the Cat. Felix first appeared in a cartoon called Feline Follies, and in a later strip this same kind of gag occurred. I felt it was perfect to use for to today's comic.

Crazy Cat

Today's comic is a tribute to Krazy Kat. Krazy Kat was a newspaper comic that ran from 1911 to 1944. One of the comic's signature gag was a rat that would throw a brick at the back of Krazy's head. You can learn more about Krazy Kat through the Wikipedia and some archived comics at ComicStripLibrary.

This is also the last Silent Sillies Speaks for a while. These were a fun experiment, but I want to take some time to focus on creating more adventure pulp cartoon storylines for 2016. Stay tuned next Sunday for another fun Silent Sillies comic!

Storage Shell

This was a fun comic for two reasons first because this was inspired some old Ninja Turtles toys I had where you could store items in the turtles shell and open them like a closet almost. The second inspiration is the pose in panel 2 Chester is doing is Felix's classic upset/thinking pose. :D Felix the cat has become a big influence on Silent Sillies and his origins started in November of 1919 so expect another Felix inspired Chester the cat comic next month! :D

Soda Jerk Save

Soda Jerk Sidney to the rescue!
Also next Saturday July 25th is Library-Con in Springfield Missouri, and we will be there! https://thelibrary.org/programs/month/july.cfm
Also you can help spread the silly real quick with a vote on Top Web Comics http://topwebcomics.com/vote/19382/default.aspx

Bullying Bystander

Happy Mother's Day! And because of our newest character Chester Cat and his family we have a special new image for the occasion! Today's comic was highly inspired by George Rottkamp and his comic about being bullied, Life of Lydie. Also this Saturday is the big debut for us at a comic convention! If you are in the Springfield Missouri area for Saturday May 16th come on by to EclectiCon and show your support! :D Here is a link to their Kickstarter.
